Many long-time customers, as well as new contacts from Germany and abroad, used this year's Blechexpo in Stuttgart to find out about innovations and new products in the sheet metal process chain.
Our stand offered exciting insights into customized leveling and deburring technologies with impressive live demos. Visitors were particularly interested in our latest EdgeBreaker® 6000 deburring machine, which is designed for complete processing after punching and laser cutting. This includes deburring, rounding and surface treatment of your sheet metal parts. It is also supported by a robot that independently loads the deburring machine. This vision robot recognizes and positions smaller sheet metal parts effortlessly, thanks to a successful cooperation with J. Schmalz GmbH.
Visitors also experienced how the hydraulic FlatMaster® 55 precision roller leveler with RollerPickup® levels punched and laser parts in the shortest possible time - for nearly stress-free and flat sheets. After leveling, subsequent processes such as welding, bending or folding also run more quickly and reliably.
Leveling was also represented on the stand at Blechexpo in a second area: coil lines. ARKU offers them for feeding material from punching or forming presses as well as roll forming systems. A new addition is the coil laser systems that ARKU has developed together with TRUMPF to make working from coil economical even for medium batch sizes. Compared to blanks, cutting from coil significantly reduces waste. In addition, coil laser systems offer a longer machine runtime compared to systems that process metal sheets. Both factors reduce part costs even for medium batch sizes. Visitors to the ARKU stand at Blechexpo received valuable information on this topic.
Last but not least, the experts from ARKU provided information on the advantages of contract leveling or contract deburring at ARKU Germany, the USA and China. This allows these processing steps to be carried out even if there is no space for an in-house machine. As a service provider, the Baden-Baden-based company offers a complete package including transportation and logistics services.
In a pleasant atmosphere at the ARKU Bar, numerous discussions were held over the tried-and-tested cocktails and coffee specialties.
