CTL Coil Lines
A cut-to-length line for coil, often referred to simply as a CTL line, is a piece of industrial equipment used in metal coil processing. It's designed to take metal coils, typically steel or aluminum, and precisely cut them into sheets, also referred to as blanks, of specific lengths.
Cut-to-Length CTL Coil Lines for Accurate Blanking
ARKU cut-to-length coil lines can be configured in various ways to achieve the required blanks. These types of lines are also referred to as CTL line. The line itself processes metal coils by uncoiling, feeding, leveling (straightening), shearing to length and then stacking of sheet metal blanks. ARKU even offers cut-to-length lines with punching and embossing capabilities. It is the ideal solution to automate and ensure accurate feeding, shearing & flattening for a wide array of industries. By having a CTL line in-house, you have complete flexibility of cutting blanks directly from coil.
Revolutionize Your manufacturing with cut-to-length coil lines from ARKU! Achieve precision automation for feeding, shearing to length, and flattening across a wide variety of coil materials and coil thicknesses.
Advantages of Cut-to-Length CTL Coil Lines
Continous material feeding
Material cost savings of up to 30%
Tooling cost savings
Lower installation costs and reduced space requirements
Cut-to-Length Coil Lines for Accurate Shearing to Length
Whether using rotary or stationary shears: cut-to-length lines from ARKU process coils up to 40 t and strip widths up to 86" (2200 mm). All common coil thicknesses up to 0.78" (20 mm) can be processed. In addition to hot- or cold-rolled steel, galvanized, painted strips as well as stainless steel, aluminum and copper can all be utilized. The combination of a slitting and cut-to-length line is a particularly flexible solution (multi-blanking). The optionally integratable HiCap high-performance leveler guarantees flat materials. In addition, our line can be equipped with punching, embossing and bending units as well.
