ARKU Precision Levelers for Thick Metal Parts & Plates


ARKU offers you an extensive portfolio of roller levelers for flattening and stress-relieving metal plate and thick parts after flame (plasma and oxyfuel) cutting. The machine can also flatten the entire metal plates prior to cutting as well. Different machine models are used depending on the material specifications and flatness requirements. Material type, geometry, quantity and part dimensions all influence the choice of the ideal precision leveler. Flame cut and plasma cut parts are exposed to intense thermal energy, which creates uneven heating and cooling across the material. This leads to internal stresses, distortion, and uneven flatness. Leveling machines remove these stresses through controlled roller bending, ensuring that parts are flat, stable, and ready for downstream processes such as welding or machining.
