Reproducible flatness. Always.

Our sheet metal & parts roller levelers are extremely precise and deliver consistently excellent results. They provide enormous added value: they save time and minimize both scrap and time wasted on rework. ARKU has been involved in the leveling business for over 50 years, building an outstanding reputation and international presence. We are truly the technology leader for leveling.

Which machine is right for you?

Material thickness:

Modern and powerful. Our machines.

ARKU provides a complete range of high performance levelers: from precision levelers for metal parts, sheets, and plates to high performance coil straighteners capable of processing AHSS materials.

Our EcoMaster® series of precision levelers ensures that even the smallest metal parts and sheets are perfectly flat. Thicker parts require our powerful FlatMaster®. In contrast, our PlateMaster® is the perfect machine for sheet metal parts and plates with a large surface area.

The FlatJack® enables you to rapidly and precisely measure and check the flatness of parts on the leveler itself with a precision in the tenth of a millimeter range.

The roller leveling process

In the roller leveling process a sheet metal part passes through a series of alternating bends. The material is shaped in such a way that the finished result is flat and stress relieved. The lower the residual stress in a sheet metal part, the better the results during the subsequent production steps such as welding, bending or folding.

Features of roller leveling

  • Inquitive touchscreen HMI (works with gloves)
  • Overload protection (protects the machine)
  • Quick-change feature to access leveling rollers (easy cleaning)
  • Gap control (consitent leveling results)

Our differentiators

ARKU has a rich history of over 90 years in the business and 50+ years of leveling experience, with an established international presence. We are product and service focused, keen on offering reliability while constantly innovating to ensure we provide the most cutting-edge technology to our customers.

Check out this video and see for yourself how our customers use ARKU straighteners in their day-to-day metal flattening operations to gain a competitive advantage.

FAQs

What are the advantages of roller leveling?

In the roller leveling process, sheet metal or plates pass through a series of alternating bends. The material is bent in such a way that the finished result is flat and stress relieved. The lower the residual stress in a sheet metal part, the better the results during the subsequent production steps such as welding, bending or folding. Advantages of this process include:

  • Flat and stress relieved parts/plates
  • Significantly faster and more economical than alternative flattening processes
  • Simple process without extensive training requirements
  • Foundation for reliable cutting, welding, or bending
  • Reduces rework and rejects

Why use roller leveling?

Leveling can effectively eliminate uneven deformation, reduce residual stress, and is highly effective and efficient. The lower the residual stress in a sheet metal part, the better the results during the subsequent production steps such as welding, bending or folding.
