FAQ

What is the right deburring block for me?

The choice of a suitable deburring block for your application depends on various factors. First of all, the appropriate machine-tool combination that will deliver the best results depends on your edge requirements. Besides deburring and rounding, the decision criteria could also include the material mix or the desired surface finish. Depending on these criteria, we can help you select the best and most economical tool. We can also verify this result by running tests parts.

What is a deburring block made of?

A deburring block consists of a base that is tightly packed with high quality grit attached to an abrasive fabric side by side. The base is configured with a patented quick-change system which allows the block to be changed in just a few seconds. The abrasive fabric is arranged at an angle so that the tool can use its high pressure impact at the sheet metal edge. Deburring blocks are available in various grits.

What is an edge rounding block made up of?

An edge rounding block consists of a base where high quality grit is attached to abrasive fabrics and non-woven abrasives which are arranged in an alternating fashion. The base is configured with a patented quick-change system which allows the block to be changed in just a few seconds. The abrasives are flexible so that they create a preferably strong radius on the edge while moving across the sheet metal. Rounding blocks are available in various designs with different grits.
