Our annual sommerfest was once again a resounding success. Everyone, including employees and their families, joyfully celebrated the end of the summer season in Baden-Baden. The sun was shining bright and the atmosphere was cheerful and lively. It was a celebration of community and togetherness, providing all employees with the opportunity to get to know each other better and share their experiences.
This joyful ambiance also created the perfect backdrop for honoring our long-serving employees. Albert Reiss, the managing partner, had the pleasure of recognizing eight employees for their years of dedicated service. Among this year's jubilarians, Michael Müller and Gerald Khim stood out for their remarkable 25 years at ARKU. With their wealth of experience, they have become essential pillars of our company, contributing significantly to our success. Dandan Wei, Regina Faltin, and Sieglinde Törner-Kulda were also among the jubilarians, celebrating their 10-year work anniversaries at ARKU. We are proud of the ARKU team and look forward to many more years of shared success.
After the official program of the festival, the celebration seamlessly transitioned into a lively gathering. Employees and their families enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and indulged in delicious culinary delights. At a beautifully designed grill station, guests could choose from a variety of mouthwatering dishes complemented by a rich salad bar catering to every taste. The dessert buffet was a sight to see and left no cravings unfulfilled.
Even the youngest guests had a blast with a diverse range of entertainment options that included a massive inflatable castle, a supervised play area, and various arts and crafts activities. Children had the opportunity to unleash their energy, form new friendships, and let their creativity run wild.
The festivities continued late into the evening with laughter, celebration, and dancing. The infectious joyous spirit made everyone feel welcome and at ease. The Summer Festival 2023 was an unforgettable day that will be etched in our memories for a long time to come. It was a celebration of unity, where all employees and their families came together to commemorate the achievements of the past year and recharge for the challenges ahead.
