ARKU runs at the B2Run in Karlsruhe

With nine participants, ARKU brought the strongest team in the company's history to the running track at this year's B2Run in Karlsruhe. The employees of the Baden-Baden-based mechanical engineering company showed top performances.

On June 15, 2023, Fabian Friedrichs, Luca Hable, Niclas Huber, Jannik Koffler, Max Köhler, Matthias Krause, Nils Löscher, Steven Weiser and team captain Vallier Kirschner started for ARKU. On the 5.4 km course around Karlsruhe's Schlossplatz, Jannik Koffler put in a top performance: out of more than 8,500 participants, he made it into the top 200. Following the company run, participants were able to round off the evening with food, drinks and live music.

"The run makes it possible to get in touch with colleagues from other departments," explains Kirschner. "We will make this a regular event in the future and try to get more employees to participate. Since it's not about setting new records, but about fun and cohesion, anyone can participate," he continues.

The B2Run is a sports event for companies, clubs and businesses where colleagues can run, jog or walk together. It is particularly about team building, health promotion and commitment to a good cause. In 2023, the B2Run started with the DKMS. Together with ARKU and the other participating companies, the sports event supports the fight against blood cancer.

ARKU is already looking forward to the next company run.
