The abrasive fabric is arranged at an angle so that the tool can use its high pressure impact at the sheet metal edge. Deburring blocks are available in various grits.

What is an edge rounding block made up of?

An edge rounding block consists of a base where high quality grit is attached to abrasive fabrics and non-woven abrasives which are arranged in an alternating fashion. The base is configured with a patented quick-change system which allows the block to be changed in just a few seconds. The abrasives are flexible so that they create a preferably strong radius on the edge while moving across the sheet metal. Rounding blocks are available in various designs with different grits.
